FAMILY PRACTICE

Family practice is all about providing you and your family with personalized, ongoing healthcare. Family doctors, or general practitioners (GPs), are your go-to healthcare providers for a wide range of health needs, offering care that covers everything from preventing illness to treating common conditions and managing long-term health issues.

Welcome to Our Family Practice

Boundless Medical Family Practice has been located inside Inlet Pharmacy in beautiful Port Moody.

The family practice is currently operated by Dr. Stuart Bax and is the only family practice within Boundless Medical. This family practice is now winding down and will not be accepting new patients.

Boundless Medical itself will remain available as an umbrella for future healthcare projects and innovation work, but the current family practice service will be transitioning away from the Boundless Medical site.

Dr. Bax remains focused on supporting his current patients during this transition. Current patients can continue to book appointments using the button below while appointments remain available.

If you are looking for a family doctor, we encourage you to register with the Health Connect Registry, which helps connect people without a family doctor to available primary care providers.

MODERN, SIMPLE, PATIENT-CENTERED

Boundless Medical Family Practice was built as a simple, flexible, solo family practice focused on patient convenience and comfort.

Appointments are booked online, with in-person and telehealth options available where appropriate. Patients receive automatic reminders, reducing the need for phone calls, waiting on hold, or back-and-forth scheduling.

We also use secure AI-supported tools to help with documentation during visits, allowing appointments to stay focused on the patient rather than the screen.

For in-person visits, patients are welcome to enjoy a complimentary tea or coffee before being called in personally by the doctor.

As a solo, part-time practice, we do not have a full-time receptionist or telephone line. The model was designed to give patients more control, convenience, and a calmer healthcare experience.

The family practice is now winding down and is not accepting new patients. Current patients may continue to book online while appointments remain available.

CLINIC HOURS & GETTING CARE

Appointments are currently available on Mondays and Thursdays while the family practice transitions toward closure. Current patients can book online anytime and choose the appointment time that works best, including either an in-person or virtual visit where appropriate.

Outside of those days, local pharmacies (such as Inlet Pharmacy) can help with many minor concerns like rashes, UTIs, or pink eye. For more information [click here].

EXTRA SERVICES & FORMS

We know life doesn’t stop at your medical appointment. Sometimes you need a form, a note, or something a little extra. We're happy to help with things like: Sick notes, Driver’s medical exams, insurance & work forms and other paperwork not covered by MSP.

These are called uninsured services, which means they aren’t paid for by MSP. We generally follow the Doctors of BC fee guide to keep costs fair and transparent.
